What is the best age to father babies to avoid genetic defects that cause bipolar, autism, schizophrenia etc?

my husband is schizophrenic so i did some research a few years back.What I found is that the trait is easier passed when the father is over the age of forty five at the time of conception.
At the age of 45 i became a father, but the best age to avoid any genetic defects is before the age of 40.
before 40. it is not a guarantee that the child would not have these genetic defects, but it is better not to increase the risks.
