Couldn’t the mood swings in Boarderline Personality disorder be confused with the mood swings of Cyclothymia?

What sets apart Cyclothymia and Bipolar II? Can anyone tell me a bit more about how Cyclothymia could appear in people? Couldn’t one be diagnosed by accident when the other is actuley present in particular cyclothymia instead off BPD?

Anyone have any ideas of info?
