I served 4 years in the Army reserve and was medically discharged due to Schizophrenia on the military part and Bipolar type I on the civilian side, and they’re making me pay $1300 because I didn’t finish my 6-year contract due to developing this mental illness.
I contacted a officer about it and he said the military isn’t supposed to do that and to contact a lawyer asap…the US government has a Pioneer Credit Recovery on me threatening me to stop the SSI and SSDI benefits along with all my social security benefits.
What’s the difference between schizoaffective disorder, bipolar type and bipolar disorder w/psychotic features?
Diagnosing is hard :p
You guys are probably way better at it than me.
Everyone got their DSM-IV-TR out? Okay, what’ve you got?
Like I totally would like him to do it, like with one of my friends cause I deserve to be cheated on since I’m emotionally unstable and maybe it’ll teach me a lesson and not to be such a bad insane person. Wonder if anyone else feels the same way here? If I tell him this I know it will hurt his feelings for sure; any advice?
I was diagnosed with Bioploar type 1 recently. Does anyone have personal info on this? What meds you are taking, do they work, what are side effects?
I’m a 25 yr old new mother to a 5 month old. I started taking Seroquel as part of a research study. This drug makes me SO tired, even when I take it before bed. It makes me have the most bizzare dreams too. And I wake up with a metalic taste in my mouth.
Should I drop the research program? I am uninsured and I just want to feel normal, and act that way too.
Any input will be helpful.
Thanks!
I want to be some type of doctor and I love dealing with things like Bipolar disorders, Schizophrenia, psychological problems of the mind, and how the brain works and leads up to these disorders. I know there are neurosurgeons but I might want to go more in depth and actually deal with Disorders and not EVERY aspect of the brain. I may also be interested in surgeries on the brain that have to do with these disorders etc. Please list types of doctors and careers that work in these or similar fields
My doctor mentioned that he thinks theres a chance I have type 2 bipolar. Are there other disorders with similar symptoms that I can research as well?
both also have previously had psychotic episodes.
I was recently diagnosed with Bipolar Type 2. I was given Abilify to take. I am on 10 mg a day. I was wondering if anyone could give me any information about this medicine. What are the side affects? What makes it work? How have other people responded to it? How long does it take to start working? Has anyone else used it? How has it worked for them? Any information about anything and everything that you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
