Metalworking seems to be a lost profession in the 21st century. Highly trained artisans in the metalworking professions often go unnoticed and unsung amongst the career options for students. Welders, in particular, have advanced by leaps and bounds in the technological age. The use of welding machines, including cables, the welding rod and welding wire, has pushed welding into a new era. This specialized skill set, however, comes with a specialized set of required tools and machines.

Welders obviously need adequate safety equipment, such as gloves, boots, masks and goggles, to ensure safety while working with hot metals and such. In addition to attire, though, adequate power welding supplies are essential to ensure that the welding that takes place is safe and effective. For some projects, this power supply could be a car battery or a simple constant voltage mechanism. These devices have a trigger that sounds when the machine is at risk of an overload.

Inverted welding, however, requires a very specific power source and cable to function properly. Using a switching power supply, like that of the insulated gate bipolar transistor, inverters are capable of high loads of arc welding. The high frequency of these units makes it more productive and easier to control than regular welding units. As the frequency is so high, though, the welding cable through which current travels to and from the inverter-welding unit has to be highly specialized. In addition, the welding rod or welding rods used to connect metals must be capable of withstanding such extreme energy forms and adapting accordingly to create the best weld possible.

There are many things to consider when welding. By visiting http://weldingsuppliesoutlet.com/ welders can make sure they have the proper and appropriate welding supplies to weld best under any circumstance and for any set of needs.

Welding is an incredibly demanding profession and the need to adopt appropriate safety measures to stay safe at all times. Let us take a look at the must-have Welding supplies you need at your Welding shop. Safety is definitely the first priority when it comes to Welding. There are different array of health hazards that you need to be careful about as a welder. The intense amount of light generated during the Welding process, is not only harmful to the eyes but also the skin. The first thing that you need to have in your Welding supplies is a basic protective Welding suit.

Answer by mn mom of 2
i am on zoloft and i am pregnant. my doc says it is the safest drug out there of that sort, and it is even safe while breastfeeding. but taking any type of meds during pregnancy scares me. ask your doc if your meds are safe for baby.

Best answer:

Answer by Andrea Returns
with Bipolar 2 if he is taking his meds and being responsible about it then it is not a big deal.. at least not like Schizophrenic or psychotic Bipolar…. With Bipolar 2 he is likely to experience periods of major depression and short periods of hypomania or elevated mood (overly happy and productive)… but if he stays on his meds and in therapy he may be just as normal as anyone….

Question by AngelMidnight: If a diagnosis changes from schizophrenia to Bipolar Type 2, could disability payments stop?
I had to come off schizophrenia medication due to a potential heart problem. However, I did not have hallucinations and then I had no diagnosis. Four weeks later I had a Bipolar Symptom and now the diagnosis is Bipolar Type 2. My disability from Social Security was granted based on a schizophrenia diagnosis. Will I have to return to work based on my diagnosis changing or is Bipolar Type 2 a diagnosis where disability benefits can be received?

Best answer:

Answer by K W
Thats a question for your case manager. Your doctor has to deem you disabled, or not. Bipolar II is a diagnosis that can render someone disabled, but you will have to work with your doc and case manager to figure out if you really are disabled. Who knows, maybe with the proper diagnosis, you can receive proper treatement and not be disabled!

I haven’t been to see a psych Doc yet. Waiting to get a referral from my primary care doc. The psychologist that tested me said I could possibly have cyclothymia which is a mild version of Bipolar sometimes called Bipolar III. I don’t have any depression symptoms though. I used several online test for depression. I have also read that people that are ADHD tend to be moody also though. Anyone on here taken Wellbutrin for Bipolar? I am in recovery from crack addiction clean 7 years and am concerned about taking the stimulant medications. I would really like someone elses input on this. Thanks
So has anyone on here taken wellbutrin for ADHD and how did you respond to it?? Anyone on here have a dual diagnosis of adhd and bipolar that has taken wellbutrin??

My son is 10 years old and has been diagnosed with bipolar type 11. We have been going down the councilling, meds and behavior modification routes. Life is a Challenge with him but we love him and want the best possible outcome for him. If that means giving up a portion of our time while he is young to teach him about his illness then so be it. We are living on a farm and that gives us a bit of freedom in dealing with his tantrums ( amazing when you can send him out to the paddocks to yell and not have to worry about the neighbors or take a trip out there yourself ) What I would like to know is are there any support groups out there for parents of bipolar children if so how do I contact them? Also how do you hang on to your Sense of humor and Patience cause I sometimes end up with a short supply

I do currently take several medications:
Seroquel, Topamax, Valium, and Ambien CR. The Ambien was new prescribed by a reg. doc in exchange for trazadone for sleep but trazadone has antidepressant properties as well as sedative ones. I may just have to go back on the trazadone until I see my new pdoc.

I have been on citalopram for about 2 months, and about 3 days ago i was started on wellbutrin xl. I heard this combo is sometimes used for bipolar II. I feel good today, a little shaky but i have some energy, actually started dancing which i havent done in a few months. usually im in bed or at school. but when i do get this energy it feels so good, i start cleaning, dancing, writing poetry etc. any help is very much appreciated. btw i will be seeing a psychiatrist on thursday
during the first two months of my semester at college i felt good had energy talked to people(which i normally dont do), kept getting a’s and b’s and then during the last month i started feeling like crap i didnt want to do anything but managed to get to school anyway, and i started missing classes(which is why i saw my doctor and was prescribed citalopram). in high school i used to have these crazy mood swings throughtout the day( read somewhere this happens to teens that have bipolar)
the older i got the more spaced out the mood swings got, now that im on citalopram i felt pretty good for a few days and go back to feeling like sh#t, i thought it was just the meds working .

My boyfriend has a bipolar II. he has been on meds for past 2 years. We know each other only for 5 months. We dont get to spend time together because we live far apart. He wants to marry me. I like him a lot. I told him that i am ready to marry him. My problem is sometimes i find him very insensitive. Although we never had sex, i thinks he is too much interested in it. He always talks abt sex. When ever i tell him that i think he doesnt care about me or he is being insensitive, he says that he knows and he is trying to improve himself. He talks in a very nice and polite way. I dont know what t do..do u think i should marry him?
