Is there some internet test that I can take to find out if I’m bipolar?
Or does anyone have any info on the disorder. I’ve had several people (including teachers) ask if I have the disorder or if anyone in my family does.

My son has been tentatively diagnosed with early onset bipolar disorder. He is 10 years old. He was previously diagnosed (at great expense) with ADHD. I am frightened for his future and there is little information out there about how to effectively parent a bipolar child. Anyone have experience with this? Hints, tips, advise?
Someone I work with has two children who have some serious mental health issues and she has to miss a lot of work to take them to appointments and things like that that cannot be scheduled during evenings and weekends and has no one else available to transport them. She’s afraid of getting in trouble for her attendance. Is there any laws or anything that can help her? She has asked one of the children’s dr to write up something for fmla but they said they couldn’t do that since it was for a child and not for her personally.
The appointments – I think anyway – are for counseling and for medication management (approximately 2-4 appts per month). Not to mention when she has to miss work due to their behavior in school.
. . . the mania phase of type 2 bipolar disorder is much less severe (called hypomania, not full-blown mania), and a phase of hypomania may not even be seen as any type of disorder but rather be simply seen as the person being more “active”, “energetic”, or “hyper” than other people.
I think I may have it. But I don’t wanna sound weird i am 12 and like my mom who has it will be like you don’t know what you are talking about. And stuff like that. So i want some kind of proof because no one believes me. And i don’t know how to bring it up at my scietrest appointments. I really want someone to listen to me. And I am really worried I won’t be able to join the army when I am 18, because of the disorder. my aunt who has it wasn’t able to join as a sic.
Me and my now ex boyfriend were talking one night, and he had told me he can’t have kids, because the medication he was on for being bipolar kills his sperm, and i asked other friend that are bipolar if they know of any medications. the all said not that they know of. so im starting to worry bc we did it with out a condom.. and i’m scared
bipolar as far as i can tell may be a spectrum disorder far beyond the scope of types I, II and cyclothymia. the nos type to me seems to have different sub-categorizations. it seems like the only bipolar type that can involve psychosis is bipolar I. but also possibly NOS? is this true? if so, what are the differences if any between the two?
if so can you tell me, who is doing the research and what they are researching.
and what are they and the symptoms.i heard of bipolar 1 and 2 and seeing things or hearing voices…
