I have a “mini” research paper due next week for Psychology. It’s a short, simple paper (so nothing that takes weeks and weeks to prepare for) and I’m writing about Mood Disorders: MDD (Major Depressive Disorder) & Bipolar Disorder. However, I’m having trouble on how to actually “start” writing the paper. I need to start on the rough draft, but how would I go about that…? Please help!

I have both and live in slinger wisconsin. I am also having trouble with both currently. I need current studies and pay for my time. Thank you. I am a 29 year old female, obese, and have quit smoking 3.5 years ago.I have twin boys who were born 12 weeks early due to the pcos and paxil.

I’m doing a research paper on bipolar disorder and I have to focus on a common symptom/side effect of the disease. A lot of other students in the class are doing a mental disorder and it’s effect on substance abuse but I wanted to do something different. Any suggestions would be great!

but I don’t exactly know what I should write about it because it’s a relatively short essay max of 1000 words and 5 sources.
I had been thinking about the effects on children of bipolar parents. but I couldn’t get anything from that. now I have about 15 hours to write an essay… and i don’t have anything….. help?

I am 54 and I was diagnosed Bipolar when I was 22. After many years my medication is finally working with minimal side effects (Lamictal). In childhood I experienced quite a bit of abuse and also lived with a Dominating perfectionistic mother. I m not bashing my mother and she admitted that she was raised the same way. My question is does anyone know of valid research where all these factors are calculated in for a Bipolar diagnosis? Many people are being diagnosed with this illness without considering other factors. Did you realize Dr’s do not get paid unless they can use a valid diagnostic code from the DSMIV (has all mental analysis and codes). Hope Dr’s realize the importance of a true diagnosis otherwise we become drug quinea pigs. I should know because I have been on almost every anti-depressant and mood stabilizer out there. The Dr kept prescribing higher doses of Lithium until I became toxic and may have damaged my liver or kidneys. I finally became active in my own treatment.
