It is usually women who are associated as having mood swings as they are said to unpredictable, unlike men. Men can exhibit mood swings, although it may not be as noticeable. We all accept that everyone has the occasional mood swing which is normal in life. If you are having unexplained changes in mood swings or emotions which are out of proportion, it is time for you to think about consulting your doctor or a psychiatrist.
‘Consulting with a psychiatrist’ is what most people do not like to hear, or choose to ignore. Anyone seeing a professional such as a psychiatrist is thought to have a mental illness, but seeing one could be the answer to your problems which can be addressed.

Im doing i project for health in which we interpret 5 song’s lyrics and basically just say how and why they are related to what we learn about in health class.
I already used:
sober- pink (drinking)
breaking the habit- linkin park (drugs)
lithium- nirvana (bipolar disorder)
As you can see I need two more, they could be about alcoholism, drugs, anorexia, bulimia, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, sex, teen pregnancy, STD’s, some disorder, some problem etc……… p.s. the song can be promote or denoting the thing, it doesn’t matter.
thanks!

A friend of mine is unable to pay for a psychiatrist to prescribe drugs for her bipolar disorder. She has been clinically diagnosed and her bipolar disorder is seriously affecting her quality of life and she is unable to function normally. She is having suicidal thoughts and she really needs help. Are there any gov’t agencies that can help her?

It’s not uncommon to see a person who suffers from bipolar disorder go undiagnosed for close to eight years. Though proper treatments are available, they are still going undiagnosed or are getting inadequate treatment.
When the illness is left untreated, it can cause an assortment of trouble in the person’s life. It is important they be diagnosed soon as symptoms start so treatment can get started.

I have alot of reason to think that I may possilbly be bipolar. I already know I need to seek medical advice but I’m scared. Why is it that when I am in my “lows” I tend to get drug seeking?? I was an addict years ago and got help but don’t trust myself when I’m feeling like this.
I make myself sick thinking about it….
