Is Schizoaffective Bipolar type I a permanent disability?

I was wondering cuz I’m afraid they will cut my disability because I already tried working many times and failed.
I’ve been getting SSDI SSI for 4 years and they never did a CDR i dunno why

Yes. It is a permanent disability. Disability allows for a certain amount of trial work time before they re-assess your case. I think it is 9 months. Say you worked somewhere for a month and either quit or lost that job, it would count as a month toward the 9 total.
You don’t say if they are re-assessing you now. It is nerve wracking to go through that, but it you have that diagnosis there is practically no way they can cut you off.
Yes. Schizoaffective Bipolar I D/O is a debilitating illness that you must cope with for the rest of your life, despite variations in functioning ability you will never be cured. Symptoms may go into remission but you will continue to cope with residual symptoms. If you are unable to function on a consistent basis such as work, maintain social life/family, your disability will not be taken away. Based upon your question it sounds as if social security is conducting their 5 yr assessment review, where they are trying to determine if remain eligible for disability.
