Is it true that the government is taking prescription drugs away from the bipolar and schizophrenia?

Someone said that they are changeing the way people with mental illness are handled. By saying that the Drs need to work to get these people to recover and not keep them on meds. Is that true?
This country ….I heard that Fla is already starting it. This young girls mother (she is a therapist) told her this.

We dont have socialized medicine in the US….. FOR THIS VERY REASON!!!!
I doubt it. These are serious, chronic illnesses that are usually genetic-based and have no true solution, they can only be treated.
This is the first time I’ve heard of it but I think they should think about it.
I never heard any thing like that they are not narcotics if your doctor said that get another opinion

I wonder if that girls mother is not just saying it because she is biased against taking medicine. some people make up stories to tell people who trust them why things are not good.
I cannot possibly believe that our country would do a thing like that.
However there is a coincidence. You cannot join the military if you are taking bipolar medicine. So it is because of this coincidence that I cannot simply laugh at the idea. But it does seem a little strange.
I haven’t heard of it yet, but do you think they owe it to you to supply your drug habit I realize that a lot of people might get quite cranky for a while, but seems to me that this might be a really good thing to do. I don’t think they will though.
