Is it okay to drink alcohol while on anti psychotic medication?

Im being re-prescribed invega 3mg with cymbalta 60mg for bipolar psychosis. I drink occasionaly though but want to start taking the med. I wont be dumb enough to take it with alcohol lol, ill be taking it in the morning and if i do drink it will be at night. Is this okay?

Not a good idea. Your meds won’t work right for you. Alcohol can wipe out the good benefits of cymbalta.
I would give the meds some time to work to their full potential, about 4 weeks, so you can get better mentally. And so you know how you respond to them.
You are much better quitting alcohol and mind altering drugs until after you finish the meds. There is definitely interaction that is NOT good for you. Just look at the documentation for the meds.
Call the pharmacy….they can tell you what mixes with no problems
