I am type 2 bipolar and want to die.?
I am tired of life. I am fed up with all of what this “world” has to offer. I am fairly intelligent and realize that I will never be happy because of my defect. The depression will not let me loose.
I always take my meds and I don’t drink or do anything outside of what is prescribed by my doc.

I know how you feel, you just have to push yourself to do things that make you feel joy even if it’s for a little while, it’s still good for your mental health. Take hot baths and have a good nap.
My life is a complete black hole right now when I stare down into it..but little things help from day to day..til I figure it all out and learn to live in sanity again.
I urge you to take your medication. Even when you feel you’re okay without it, you must continue to, because when you only take it when you’re feeling bad, it won’t work (it needs to be taken at a constant rate). If you know you’re type 2 bipolar, you should know you’re in a very low mood.
Killing yourself is a waste of time.
Don’t let having type 2 bipolar stop you from living your life as any other person would. Yes, you will need medication to stabilize your mood, but this shouldn’t be a problem! Find some motivation, a goal, or even just a hobby you enjoy and focus on it. Life is a lot more pleasant when you have something like that in mind.
If you are still breathing then God isn’t finished with you yet. He created you for a specific reason and purpose. When life becomes all about us, it is overwhelming. Turn your focus from yourself to the one true God – Jesus Christ. He will totally transform your life – literally. You are right, this world cannot offer you what you truly desire, only Christ can completely fill you. I suggest studying the book of John or the book of Romans in the bible. Don’t play God and take your own life. You will find some awesome truths at the following website: http://www.marshillchurch.org.
My daughter is also type 2 bi-polar combined with borderline personality disorder and paranoia. She has been to a psychiatrist who has told her she needs anti-psychotic drugs like Abilify, and to get regular counseling with a therapist. She was also told not to be alone because of voices she hears.
Please do not give up on your life. You can live a relatively normal life with the right medication, and good medical care. One thing my daughter found out is not to take anti-depressants. They make type 2 bi-polar worse, not better.
Good medical care, and the right dosage of meds can make all the difference. I hope you get the help you need and that your life becomes more positive. You said you are an intelligent person. You must have gifts you can use to help others in a positive way.

Hey….
It seems like what you have is pretty serious. At this point, I would highly advice for you to see a counselor, or possibly even a mental psychiatrist….it may seem like being happy is impossible at this point….but there is happiness inside of everything, it’s just that sometimes, it hides. In your case, your happiness is still inside you, but buried beneath a stone wall in your heart.
Just please remember: This is not your fault. You are simply born with this, and it has nothing to do with you. Don’t feel guilty.
Believe it or not, there’s actually something far more powerful than meds for depression. Yes, there is. It’s a smile. Depression is a mental issue, and we have 100% control of ourselves and how we make our lives. Your life=any life you want it to be, if you aim for it and work your way up. That’s just fact. You might think this is a pile of baloney…but just think about it, please.
There are two sides of the world: the positive and negative. We chose which side to step in. Even when times are rough and patchy, we can still choose to be part of either one.
If you really did kill yourself, I would cry. Please don’t, I beg you. No life is worth killing. Life is the Earth’s most precious gift, and we should feel fortunate we are even alive right now. Why is it so precious? Because we have the entire world to make our lives out of.
