how dose alcohol effect some who has bipolar and is taking meds?

the med are zyprexa 5mg,clonaepam.5mg,flouxetine hcl,when they had 8beers? need help

I would have to say a bad combo, even without the meds.
Yike!!! Psych meds and alcohol do NOT mix. You cant drink with Psych meds!!! You can stroke out! Keep a close eye on them and make sure they don’t pull a stupid stunt like this again.
the alcohol will react with the medication and stop them from working and as alcohol is a depressant the person could become extremely depressed
most medication reacts with alcohol and should not be mixed especialy medication for mental health problems
meds affect your mood
alcohol affects your mood
mixing affects your brain function, ability to reason, solve problems, and feel emotion which is normal.
someone bipolar may become suicidal or manic. theres no telling what they outcome will be.
overdose is another possibility.
