how do psychologist’s test for add and bipolar?

umm im a 13 yearr old boy and and my doctor is like sending me to a psychologist to be tested fo r add or bipolar and i was wondering like how do they test u

There are some specific tests done on a computer to test for ADD which are very conclusive. Bipolar is a bit harder as it takes talking to many people to establish yoru behavior patterns over the preceding years and it takes a lot of observation on the part of the psychologist to diagnose Bipolar. There is no easy test for Bipolar.
