fiction books involving a character that is bipolar?

I need to do a 12 pg report on something that has to do with human growth and development and phsycology. I think bipolar would be fun to do research and read about. I am looking for a fictional or a book that is like a diary or a true story but an awesome book that you can spend in bed all day reading. (i need to read it fast!) any ideas please help!

Susanna’s Song or Song of Susannah by stephen king
the title is one of those two i cant remember which. very good read even tho it’s one of a series i think it could be read as stand alone
“White Oleander”…awesome book! The mother is definately Bi-polar. You will absolutely love this book! One the best I’ve ever read. You could also read a short..but incredibly intense book called “A Child Called It”. It’s a true story of a child that is abused by his crazy mother. Get ready to cry for this one..but you will finish in a day or so… Happy reading!
