i am 17 years old and suffer from bipolar disorder.
i am on medication and see all kinds of doctors and all.,
but what i want to know is, is there a test on the chrmicals of the brain linked with bipolar? and does anyone know how accurate it is?

Or does anyone have any info on the disorder. I’ve had several people (including teachers) ask if I have the disorder or if anyone in my family does.

So, I don’t know if I am or not and i’m only 16. I talked to my mom about it and it would explain a lot but I don’t think she’ll take me to a profesional about it until she’s more sure, so i’ve been trying to research it, but I don’t know what sources would be completely reliable so, if anyone has any suggestions on where I could research, it would be greatly appreciated

I heard from someone that you can get tested to see if you really have bipolar disorder. Is there such thing?

I think I may have it. But I don’t wanna sound weird i am 12 and like my mom who has it will be like you don’t know what you are talking about. And stuff like that. So i want some kind of proof because no one believes me. And i don’t know how to bring it up at my scietrest appointments. I really want someone to listen to me. And I am really worried I won’t be able to join the army when I am 18, because of the disorder. my aunt who has it wasn’t able to join as a sic.

Is there a test to show that if I’m bipolar or not. And if so, what doctor do I go see, like is there a certain doctor I need to see?
