I’m trying to gather info for a stepparent adoption and my ex has bipolar disorder and refuses to take any medication. There have been stays in the psych ward and suicide attempts. My son is autistic and I believe it to be in his best interest if the bio father’s rights were terminated. There has been no contact for almost a year. My son has problems with routine changes (symptom of autism) and having a bio father pop in and out of his life could be harmful.
will he go insane? my friend wants to drop E, but i know he’s on medication for being bipolar. anyone knows what it could do to him?
My best friend’s husband has bipolar and takes medication. She is one frustrated woman, I can sense it although she does not talk about the subject. They are young in their 30′s. Could his decreased sex drive be a main reason for her frustrating attitude since he was diagnosed.
Against common wisdom and against his doctors orders, he stopped cold turkey from taking this bipolar medication four months ago.
He has been just fine since and I would like to know what to expect.
What about being the nuclear program in the Navy?
I am wondering for someone who is really important to me. I think he is bi-polar and I know he is really depressed. He wants to be in the Nuclear Navy program but he doesn’t want to take medication for it because he really wants to be on submarines.
i’m just wondering, because i think my mom is bipolar and i go through these weird super super happy one day, almost depressed the next things, so i think i might have it mildly. and i’m just wondering, how much does the medication alter your personality? because i don’t think i’m gonna go to a doctor or anything because it isn’t bad at all, but if i do i don’t want to go on meds that are gonna change who i am.
i’m just wondering cuz it seems like i go from one personality to the next. i probably don’t have it, and if i do it’s really mild. i’m just curious
If you forget you take your medications for just one day, will you be able to feel the effects, like feel manic or depressed?
My boyfriend is the one who needs the name of this medication because i’m researching the side effects and such for him. I would very thankful to anyone who knows the name of the medication, I’d like to try to have any info before the morning.
Im making a research paper that is on bipolar for the reason that i have been dating a guy that i love and he is bipolar but isnt and doesnt want to get on medication what would be different if he was on medication versus the fact that he isnt.
