it can detemine wether you have a shortage of something that makes your brain level. it can also be used to check that you aren’t having too much lithium for example which may poison your system.
I don’t think so, you need a good psychatrist to confirm that diagnosis.
Unfortunately, no……that’s why you have to go through so many different meds to see what works and what doesn’t. One doc can say you are BiPolar while the other can diagnose Manic Depression – it’s really frustrating. Good Luck!
