What meds would you recommend for someone who is bipolar, with both the manic and depressive types? Im currently on 300 mg of Wellbutrin and 75 mg of seroquel. It doesn’t seem to be helping much anymore and Im thinking of changing my meds. Thanks.

I am schizoaffective bipolar type 1, and while I was working part-time I got suicidal thoughts within 2 months of working. was my suicidal thoughts a mood swing or depression?

My ex has bi polar disorder and will not admit it to himself and will not seek treatment. As a result, I don’t want him around at all and that makes it very hard on me raising our daughter on my own. Also he doesn’t pay child support and I resent that. Is there anything I can do to force him to seek treatment?

I live in arizona and I need to know where to get tested for bipolar disorder in the phoenix area. Whenever I try to look it up online all I get is the symptoms and info about medicine but I don’t need any of that info right now, all I need to know is where to get tested and I don’t have a specific doctor so I was wondering if there was a clinic or something like that that I can go to? Is this normal? Could it be because I only drink coffee once in a blue moon and when I make it I make it too strong?

i have recently been told i suffer from bipolar disorder is there any tips people can give me on how to handle it im a bit scared .

When you have this desease you dont want to eat, to sleep or to read you only want to talk or to buy things or to make call phone and you spend so much money in medical drugs, i mean pills medicated by the doctor, the specialist in this case is the phsyquiatric doctor, is a organic and hereditary disease, so finally after a lot of time searching job i finally found a good one.. but i am worried because there is a probability to leave the job if i continue feeling bad, please if you know someone in a similar case write me an email as soon as possible, i am married with one boy i am secretary and i need the money that i can get with a job.

Totally fed up with all these teenagers posting “OMFG! I’m hyper one second Then cutting myself the next umy friends say I’m bipolar what do u think?”
FYI: bipolar disorder does not mean happy one minute sad the next. That’s called emotional lability. Bipolar episodes stretch for weeks to months. Just letting you know.
It seems the term “bipolar” is used as a catchall for any type of mood swings. Just letting you know there is a difference.
